There’s something unique about the culture of Mckinney Christian Academy.
It’s a place where our faith meets education, where students are known and seen, and a place where our staff is engaged in active discipleship. My name is Chance Dorris, and I am the middle school principal at McKinney Christian Academy. I want to welcome your family to MCA, and encourage you to be prayerful in partnering with us for your child's education. Middle school can be a challenging time in a student’s life, with an abundance of change. We want to walk that with your family in a safe and supportive environment. In the middle school race towards maturity, the most important piece of the puzzle is ensuring that our students are maturing in their understanding of who Jesus Chirst is and what their relationship with Him looks like.
Proverbs 9:10 tells us that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is insight.” Our students at MCA will be academically challenged, and I’m confident that they will flourish. At MCA, we understand that acquired knowledge has biblical roots and kingdom application. McKinney Christian Academy exists to honor Jesus Christ by teaching students to live biblically through education of mind, body, and spirit. I find that education is the modality of teaching kids to live biblically, placing Jesus Christ as our focal point.
McKinney Christian is a community. We believe in unity as believers, and unity as a school. We are 3 levels of school, but we are ONE McKinney Christian Academy. I appreciate your consideration of MCA, and pray blessings over your family.
