Evaluations are completed during the school day. Full reports are sent home with recommendations and therapy suggestions. Once enrolled in speech therapy at MCA, the student and parents will receive achievable goals and objectives for the upcoming semester. Therapy services are typically provided twice a week for 30 minutes. Therapy sessions are centered around each individual students goals while using engaging, creative and appropriate games. A daily communication folder is provided to each student to aide in generalization of learned skills at home. Progress notes are completed twice a semester, as well as, observations or parent conferences.
