Academic & College Guidance

The high school years are critical in the development of each student as he/she develops life-long beliefs, habits, and practices. Students need support from parents, teachers, school counselors, and church ministers to grow in faith, find God’s purpose for their lives, and the steps they should take to fulfill this purpose. The Academic Guidance Office exists to provide not only academic support and guidance for students, but also guidance in identifying strengths, abilities, and interests as well as potential careers, college majors, and colleges that fit the individual student. Standardized testing as well as a battery of personal assessments are administered through the academic guidance office. Students and parents are invited to stop by or schedule appointments as needed. A resource room with computer workstations and college literature library is available for students within the Academic Guidance Office.
