This session will include current theory and research surrounding the power of orthographic mapping. The presenter will demonstrate effective practices that leverage the interconnectedness of reading and writing and can be implemented to support struggling students. Participants will have opportunities for hands-on practice and application to analyze student profiles with literacy challenges.
