Scholarships are available through the college/university the student will attend, departments/colleges within the school and many other private sources; the awards may be based upon academic merit, leadership, athletics, need or other factors. Each scholarship application varies in its requirements and deadlines as well as in its potential awards.

Students and parents may access scholarship search engines in their Naviance Student/Parent accounts.

Financial Aid

The primary source of financial aid for college expenses is Federal Student Aid from the U.S. Department of Education. Please visit the links below for the federal financial aid application (FAFSA) and more information about this aid.
The State of Texas and each individual college/university also offer additional loans and aid opportunities. The Financial Aid Officers at the colleges you are considering are an excellent resource for prospective students. Visit  College for All Texans  for a listing of State of Texas Grants and Scholarship programs available to students at Texas colleges and universities.
