Student Life Center (Construction in Progress)

Construction is in progress for the new Student Life Center. During the course of the next several months, we will endeavor to keep you informed with the current status of the construction.

 
 

PROGRESS REPORT:
The following is a brief list of what's been completed in the last week and what is currently being worked on (as reported on 11/14/08):

  • Vapor membrane barrier is 100% complete.
  • Retaining walls for entrances and exits are 100% complete.
  • Placement of the transformer pad is 100% complete.
  • Placement of brick ledge is 100% complete.
  • Fire line placed at gym is 98% complete.
  • Paving backfill is 90% complete.
  • Canopy installation is 90% complete.
  • Fire line placed at Stage 2 is 85% complete.
  • Dirt work for crawl space is 85% complete.
  • HVAC duct installation is 85% complete.
  • Sidewalls are 75% complete.
  • Brick ledge is 50% complete.
  • Brick work on the building is 15% complete.

Some of the work that is scheduled to be completed in the next two weeks is the following:

  • Install FDC.
  • Install site lighting.
  • Placement of locker bases.
  • Placement of electrical transformer.
  • Landscaping.
