Dear Friends,
It is a tremendous honor for us to share the story of our son, Noah. We were truly blessed to be his parents. In his nine years, Noah lived his life as a faithful and loving servant of Christ. Noah's passion for Christ was revealed in his smile, seen in his eyes, and felt in his love toward others. Noah treasured his school, McKinney Christian Academy (MCA). He loved his classmates, his teachers and performing in school plays. One teacher described Noah by saying, "Jesus shines in Noah's life through his confident spirit of strength under control." Another reason Noah cherished MCA was that he was completely committed to the mission of his school, developing stewards of Christ.
Noah's favorite pastime was baseball. He started playing Little League baseball when he was 3 1/2 years old. He was a natural born athlete that loved being outdoors, but baseball was his passion. Recently, after his first kid pitch game in which his team lost, Noah enthusiastically jumped in the car and said, "That was great!" He loved playing a good game.
Noah had many friends, and all have written wonderful words about him. One of our favorite's came from our 9 year old neighbor. She says, "Noah is the best friend anyone can ever have... He has an awesome family.. He was a wonderful athlete... He could hit the ball so far that in a blink of an eye the ball was gone, then you turn around and Noah was already at home base. I pray that Noah is still safe and sound in heaven. He was a nice caring boy that was always happy."
Noah's life on this earth ended on January 3, 2009. He and his PaPa, Dave Edmondson, Deora's father, died in a boating accident. Noah taught us, his classmates, friends, teammates, and teachers many great things. We, along with MCA, want to continue to share the story of Noah's life and his outstanding qualities so that others may benefit. In his honor, we have joined with MCA to build Noah Field. Noah Field will be a memorial baseball field on the MCA campus, where others can continue to be blessed.
Family members and friends have asked what they can do after the death of Noah and PaPa. Now that approval has been received to construct a ballfield, we ask that you join us in creating Noah Field. Over $8,000 has been raised to date through the generosity of friends and family. To contribute, please click on the Donate button above.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration to continue to share the story of Noah's life.
