MCA App Ready to Download
We are excited to announce that the MCA App is now ready for you to download!
If you have an iOS device, like the iPhone or iPad, or if you have a Droid device, you may now download our app for free. Just go to the App Store or the Droid Market and look for “McKinney Christian” or “MCA”. You should find a gold icon with a blue mustang on it.
Here is a general overview of what to expect and how to use the MCA App:
As soon as you open it and after the initial splash screen, you will see the MCA Calendar of Events. This calendar contains all of the items from the All-School Calendar.
The next section is Athletics. Here you will find the schedules, scores and news for the Athletic Dept. When viewing the schedules, you will notice that past games have the scores. When you click on one of these games, it will take you to Athletic news. This is a streaming feed for all news items from the Athletics Dept. On the other hand, if you are viewing one of the upcoming games, you should see whether it is home or away. All future games, when clicked on, will take you to a Google map of the location. Very handy for in-car navigation!
The third section is the MCA News section. This is being directly fed by the news section on our website and is constantly being updated and added to. Also, if school is closed or delayed, the notice will be posted in this section.
Finally, we come to the About MCA tab. Here we have posted our Mission Statement and link to our official Facebook page, to our website and to the online donation page of our website.
