TAPPS District Band
March 1, 2012
On March 1, 2012, 27 MCA high school students will be travelling to Liberty Christian Academy in Argyle to participate in the TAPPS District Band Large Ensemble and Solo and Ensemble contest.
MCA will compete as a high by performing three pieces that we have been working on this entire semester. Along with the large ensemble portion, students will perform a solo and some will participate in ensembles as well.
These students will play for judges and be graded according to how well they do. If they receive a Grade 1, which is the highest grade you can receive, they will move on to the state competition on April 12and 13, 2012 in Belton, Texas.
