Dear MCA community and family,

On behalf of the Lower School, it is truly a pleasure to welcome you as we begin the 2011-2012 school year.  To those students and parents who are new to MCA, we extend an especially warm welcome and best wishes for an exciting and productive year.  We hope that you will quickly feel at home and become involved in the activities of our school. 

As I begin my tenth year as Lower School principal, I remain committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment.  Furthermore, let me assure you that our learning community will continue to be characterized by education for virtue: character development which renews young minds and encourages God-centered rather than self-centered decision making.  Shaping hearts to love God is a responsibility that remains paramount during these formational years. 

I would also like to take this opportunity to acquaint you with the changes in this year’s staff assignments:
