Tuitions and Fees

Application Fee

A $100.00 non-refundable application fee must be submitted with each child’s application. Directed Studies testing and fees may be required if applicant demonstrates a need for additional academic classroom support to be successful at MCA.

Admission Fee

There is a one-time admission fee of $850 paid only in the year the child is accepted into MCA. This fee is due with the return of the signed contract.

* Tuition does not include the cost of uniforms, school supplies, athletics/activity fees, and other miscellaneous expenses.
** Tuition does include the cost of the annual class trip (6th grade Pine Cove Trip, 7th grade Texas History Trip, 8th grade NASA Trip).

Tuition Discounts

For students enrolling for the 2012-2013 prior to September 1, 2012, a Paid-in-Full discount is given and the $20 FACTS Enrollment Fee is waived when the signed contract is returned by the contract due date, and the total tuition amount is paid accordingly.  The Paid-in-Full discount is $75 for Pre-K (3 Day) and $150 for Pre-K (5 Day) - 12th grade.

Payment Options

Tuition may be paid on a monthly basis and automatically deducted from your bank account. The number of installments is determined by the date the contract of enrollment is signed and returned. Please contact the Admissions Office for further details.

* ESS is short for Extended School Supervision. This is our after-school program for parents who are unable to pick their child up immediately after school dismisses.

Refund Policy

McKinney Christian Academy has financial and contractual arrangements with faculty, staff, vendors, etc., which are made before the beginning of each school year. These obligations and commitments require MCA to MANDATE that all enrolling families commit financially for the entire school year.

In order for MCA to meet its contractual obligations to faculty, staff, and others, we do not offer a refund on any tuition and fees for any reason including, but not limited to, job relocation, change in parents’ decision for student to attend, etc. If for any reason an enrolled student fails to attend or to continue in attendance at MCA for the contracted school year, 100% of the tuition is still due and must be paid in full.

Our financial aid applications are processed through FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment and are awarded annually according to the availability of funds and in response to a family’s financial need. Current parents need to apply annually for the upcoming school year. New applicants may apply for financial aid once they begin the admissions process. Financial aid applications will be processed for current students and active applicants only. Financial aid applications are now being accepted. The applications are due March 19, 2012, and award notifications will be sent by April 16, 2012.  All personal financial information is confidential within FACTS and not available to MCA personnel.
