After graduation, Amanda headed off to Baylor University and completed a Bachelors of Science in Health Science Studies in 2008.  She then continued her studies at Texas Tech University Health Science Center graduating in 2012 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences with emphasis on Higher Education with plans to teach in the future. Amanda joined the Advanced Physical Therapy team in the summer of 2012 and is busy enjoying cycling, cooking and traveling with her husband.

Amanda Brooks, MCA Class of 2004, attended Baylor University from 2004-2008 and received a B.S. in Health Science Studies. While attending Baylor, Amanda was involved in many campus activities including the Greek sorority Zeta Tau Alpha in which she held the offices of Scholastic Chairman and Judicial Chairman and Phi Theta, a pre-physical therapy organization.  She was a member of several honor societies including Order of Omega, a Greek honors society, Golden Key Honor Society and Mortarboard.  Her summers were filled with service at Pine Cove Christian Camps as a counselor and wrangler, an internship at Medical Center of McKinney and study abroad in London.

Following graduation from Baylor she began a doctoral program at Texas Tech University in Physical Therapy and is a member of Alpha Eta Society, an Allied Heath Honor Society. While in Lubbock, Amanda has become an active member at Redeemer Church and serves in the Connections Ministry.  She met the love of her life and is engaged to married in December.  Amanda will graduate as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in May 2011.
