Board of Trustees

McKinney Christian Academy is governed by a self-perpetuating Board of Trustees, of which at least 50% are parents of current students. The Headmaster is an ex-oficio member. At the present time, nine individuals in addition to the Headmaster comprise the Board. They are: Mr. Dan Brooks, Dr. Lee Brock, Mr. Dennis Burt, Mr. Scott Fillebrown, Mrs. Amy Smith, Mr. Scott Zanetell, Mr. Robb Temple, Mr. Eddie McGehee and Mr. Paul Buckner. Several Board Members are "Founding Members" and all are parents of current students or McKinney Christian Academy graduates.

Board members are born-again believers who model Christ-like love, demonstrate fruits of the Spirit, and are growing in the qualities of an elder, as defined in the Scriptures. MCA Board members have a passion for and a commitment to MCA through active participation in the school, while meeting these spiritual qualifications:

• Board members are to be actively involved in a Bible-believing church, and be continually pursuing spiritual growth.
• Board members are to adhere to core Christian doctrine and sign a Statement of Faith.
• Board members are held accountable for Christ-like behavior at school and in the community.
