MCA Headmaster

Kevin Fields was appointed Headmaster of McKinney Christian Academy by the Board of Trustees on June 1, 2007. Mr. Fields brings with him over 25 years of experience in education; 11 of those years in administration and nine of those years in a Headmaster role. Mr. Fields previously served as Headmaster at Heritage Christian Academy in Rockwall, TX.

Mr. Fields' passion for Christian education and his strong leadership background will prove to be a great combination to continue to build on the work the former headmaster and his staff began.

Mr. Fields and his wife, Susan,have eight children and are enjoying their new home in McKinney. Their oldest 2 children are Howard Payne University graduates and five of their eight children are now attending MCA.

Mr. Fields favorite Scripture verse is Matthew 25:21- "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' "

Upper School Principal

Keith Bollinger, Upper School Principal, graduated in 1985 from Baptist University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a BS in Secondary Education and in 1991 from Clearwater Christian College in Florida with a BS degree in History Education.

Keith has 19 years teaching experience. Prior to joining the staff at McKinney Christian Academy, he taught History related subjects at Dade Christian School in Miami, Florida, Westminster Academy in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Zion Lutheran School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, Texas. At MCA, he teaches 12th Grade Government and is the Head Coach of the Varsity Boys Basketball team.

Keith and his wife Karen have been married over 16 years. Their two children attend McKinney Christian Academy: 8th grader Kayli and 6th grader Zachary. The Bollinger family attends Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church.

Keith enjoys working with and coaching his kids.

Keith's favorite Scripture verse is Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Lower School Principal

MCA Lower School Principal

Debi Sass, the Lower School Principal, graduated from Kansas State University with a BS degree in Education and a major in Art in 1976. She completed her MS in Education with an emphasis in reading shortly thereafter. She now holds administrative certification, professional development and appraisal certification, and instructional leadership training from the state of Texas. She recently completed another Master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, and is finishing her doctoral work at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

Debi taught school for twenty years before going into administration. After receiving her administrative certification, she trained administrators throughout the Dallas metroplex for two years. Debi then served as Director of Children's Ministries at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and became widely recognized as a speaker and advocate for children with special needs. She has received a number of awards in education and community service over the years and is a member of several international honor societies. Debi enjoys a multitude of creative domestic endeavors, church choir, reading, and travel. She attends Cornerstone Christian Church in Dallas.

Athletic Director

Kevin Sutton graduated in 2002 from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BS degree in Historical Studies. He is credentialed by the State of Texas and ACSI.

This is Kevin's fourth year of teaching. In addition to being the Athletic Director at McKinney Christian Academy, he will also be coaching football and track, and teaching History.

Kevin and his wife Cristi have been married eight years and have two sons, Patrick (2) and Jack (6 months). They attend Calvary Chapel of Plano.

Kevin's favorite Scripture verse is Romans 5:8 - "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, and he also enjoys athletics.
